DeleteIf you are going to have a good news story then you have to have passion, creativity, and originality. You must stay clear on the topic and don't go off the subject because if you do everyone will just get bored. It doesn't always havbe to be something educational or a historical event that has happened but it can also be something fun and exciting or perhaps maybe a biography. The question "What makes a good news story?" is an oxy-moron in of itself. But from a film standpoint, a "good" news story would need to have a steady camera, a handsome news anchor, and a bunch of words all over the bottom of the screen telling you stuff that the anchor has just told you.
Oh yeah, and being accurate with information. DOI. Well, that's never gonna happen.
