PROJECT OVERVIEW	RESULTS
	POSTER Objective: Create a poster which displays information in a visually appealing way. Use tools & techniques learned in Illustrator to stylize text and images
	LASER -ENGRAVED PENCIL Objective: Personalize a pencil using Epilog Laser Skills Learned: * Measuring with a ruler and in Illustrator. * Creating a template for pencil to be positioned in. * Applying speed and power settings for laser
	PUMPKIN Objective:  Learning Basic Shape creation & combination in Adobe Illustrator Tools Used: Selection, image trace, place image
	TEXT EFFECTS Objective:  Learn how to style text in Adobe Illustrator. Examples include warp, 3D, type on a path, clipping mask Tools Used: Type on a path, effects, outer glow, drop shadow
	Custom 2D Ornament Objective: Use shapes and text to create a holiday ornament. Use a specific stroke weight to indicate where perimeter of ornament would be cut by laser.
Raw video final video	GREENSCREEN PRACTICE Objective: Create a video illustrating “Where I would rather be”. Shoot in front of green screen. Use Adobe Premiere to “Key-out” greenscreen and replace with another background.
	3D ORNAMENT Objective: Create or download a 3D model. Personalize it in TinkerCAD by adding text and a way to hang it. Learn how to “slice” the model and send to 3D printer.
	PEN TOOL Objective:  trace or draw objects using anchors and handles Chunky Lines More natural looking lines created by subtracting one shape from another 3 Brushes Created by converting a shape into a brush. Convert anchors using direct selection, change color mod to tint. Shading In Illustrator Create a new layer, trace the area to be shaded, change blending mode to multiply, use feather effect to blur the edge
	"I Have a Dream" Objective: Create a cloud in memory of MLK Tools Used: Shapes, Shape builder, text
	PORTRAIT PROJECT Objective: Trace, color and shade an image of choice using pen tools
	VIDEO PROJECT Shoot and edit a 30-second commercial or music video with the use of a green screen
MG Roach 2020	GRADIENT LANDSCAPE Objective: Create a simple landscape. Tools Used: Shapes, Pen, Gradient, Effects
Julie Abrams	Perspective Drawing Objective: Draw a representive cityscape using 1 point or 2 point perspective. Have at least 12 buildings, a street, sidewalk and windows. Complex shapes made by using shapebuilder. You must also have consistent value createdusing gradients and texture using filters. Tools Used: Perspective Grid, Perspective Grid Selection Tool, Efects
	Sticker Project Objective: Create a custom sticker to be printed and cut using Roland wide format printer Tools Used: Text, shapes, pen, offset path, custom swatch colors
What was your favorite project? Do you think you increased your knowledge of ability to create illustration? Do you plan on pursuing a career in illustration? Why/Why not?	My favorite project was the portrait because i love seeing students create something they never would have thought they could.
